The wolves of Northern Lights have all been adopted from various facilities. Born and bred in captivity, these wolves are not candidates for release into the wild. We do not breed here.

Each wolf has been socialized (imprinted) from a very young age. This allows us to use them for education and photography. It also makes their lives in captivity less stressful, since people do not make them nervous.

Help Protect Wolves!

In November 2007, we brought Moab and Keehta home to Golden!

A brief history: our wolf centre at Golden has had a sister centre at Panorama Mountain Village for the 2006-2007 season. There, Moab and Keehta have helped teach our visitors the truth about wolves.

Well, our time there over, and we have decided to bring our wolves home to Golden, where they will have the rest of the pack and all of our full-time staff to care for them.

For those visitors to our Panorama facility: thank you for your many visits and your support. Come see Moab and Keehta in Golden!
